After the back to nature war ended he defected to Black Hole Metropolis. His legendary reputation was something that he used to augment his public persona when he built a gladiatorial business empire. He is brilliant at manipulating the minds of both humans and aliens as well as cyborgs. He is the Master of Ceremonies at the gladiatorial events. Dr. Mind appears to be all business with no sentimentality. However, like many of the characters in the story, he has another side that he keeps hidden from the public.
